The research project received support from UVT Start Grant (2025) and the National Cultural Fund Administration (UVT Foundation 2025; Tehnoarte Association 2026).

Desert Storm interactive edition

Artwork: Paul Babencu. The interactive artwork is separate from the decorative website field. Its packaged third-party notices are available for Three.js, MediaPipe, Transformers.js, ONNX Runtime, Depth Anything and Wombat GLSL.

Additional digital editions

Feature Fusion adapts the original Raspberry Pi installation and artistic generation prompts. Inverted Panopticon, Contemplating Life, Breathing Fields and SenzSkin are web interpretations of the artists’ references and interaction designs. SenzSkin 2.0 uses the figure renders, fourteen pH colours and bilingual texts supplied by 13m10j on 3 November 2026. Its IBM Plex Sans Medium typeface is distributed under the SIL Open Font License.

3D rendering uses Three.js (MIT); local face detection uses Google MediaPipe and BlazeFace (Apache-2.0). MediaPipe model attribution is included with the face-detection assets.

Visitor preferences

Accepting enables participation analytics on exhibition pages and interactive editions: navigation, active time, clicks, touch, sampled pointer positions, scroll, artwork controls, errors and contribution events. We also record your full IP address, browser and device information.

We do not record or save video or microphone audio. Camera and microphone effects run locally on your phone or computer. Feature Fusion is the exception for a photo you choose to submit; its processing and storage are explained before you send it.

Session heatmaps and reconstructed visits help us study how the exhibition is explored. They do not record camera images, microphone audio, passwords or the contents of text fields. Administrators can view participation records; these are not shown in the public gallery.

Interactive editions require acceptance. Declining keeps presentation pages available. Camera and microphone access always require a separate browser permission. Feature Fusion explains its AI image processing and gallery publication before you submit a contribution.
